Horace Mann is committed to following corporate governance best practices to ensure a financially strong company that operates ethically and with integrity. As part of this commitment, our employees and Board of Directors are required to acknowledge their understanding of and compliance with the Code of Ethics and Code of Conduct annually. In addition, all of our employees, including part-time employees, are required to complete annual ethical standards training, and new hires are provided ethical standards training as part of the onboarding process.

A critical part of Horace Mann’s Code of Conduct and ethical responsibility is ensuring that our financial practices – including internal accounting controls and auditing procedures – are followed with the utmost honesty and integrity.
